East Meets West With This Delicious Thai Pizza
This recipe uses my Thai peanut sauce which makes an awesome pizza that no vegetarian or vegan should go without!
This is a favorite in my house and has recently become a hearty holiday classic, with broccoli and red pepper to showcase the festive colors of Christmas.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 12 – 18 minutes
Makes 1 delicious pie!
Ingredients
- Pizza dough
- 1 cup vegan thai peanut sauce
- vegan cheese (optional)
- your choice of toppings
- 1/2 cup flour (for rolling out dough)
1. Preheat oven to 475 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Start by taking your pizza dough ball and rolling it out to your desired size. If you’re unsure of how much dough to use, I like to use about the size of a softball. Lay out your dough on a lightly oiled pizza pan. If you’re using a pizza stone, it is traditional to use corn meal both under the dough and on the stone to prevent sticking.
3. Add your sauce to the pizza.
4. Add desired toppings. I like broccoli, red bell pepper, carrots, tofu, and a tiny bit of Daiya Vegan Mozzarella Cheese.
5. Bake on a pizza pan or stone for 12 to 18 minutes or until pizza looks cooked to your liking. Enjoy!
